These are pictures from a Saturday Leadership class.

What they do: The leadership team is learning to be leaders. They learn to teach classes and discuss effective teaching techniques. Each member of the leadership team is responsible for periodically planning an outing to work on team bonding. The team member plans the event from start to finish: choosing a location, day and time; researching cost and meals as well as making car pool arrangements and communicating effectively with the team. This helps the team members learn organizational skills.

How to join: This team is invitation-only. Based on your discipline and observation of your leadership qualities, the Masters may invite you to join.

Fees: There are no fees for this team, but some events may require payment. The team requires a lot of commitment in terms of time and dedication.

For more information, contact Master Alex Lee at the North school.

About Lee's Korean Martial Arts

Learning martial arts, as with anything else, takes time. It will take at least a few years to eventually attain the rank of black belt. Nothing worthwhile can be obtained quickly or easily. Remember, the journey to back belt is not a race. It will take perseverance and determination to make it to the rank of Black belt. As the famous punch line goes, "the way to Carnegie Hall is ... practice, practice, practice!"
